The new Enso range of lures are starting to hit the shelves across Australia. Coming from the brain child of Cameron Trowbridge, the Enso Crabhiku is a superb inchiku jig that is available in 80 and 100gm in four colors
The Crabchiku from the Enso range stands out with several innovative features designed to enhance its performance and appeal to both fish and anglers.

The hybrid design of the Crabchiku combines the characteristics of a traditional jig with those of an inchiku, making it versatile for different fishing conditions. This allows for a unique action in the water, enhancing its effectiveness in attracting fish.
Specifically designed for deep dropping, the Crabchiku is engineered to sink quickly to the bottom, making it ideal for targeting bottom-dwelling species. Once it hits the bottom, a simple half-wind of the reel is all that’s needed. The motion of the boat then imparts the lure’s action, minimising the effort required by the angler.
Packed with features, the jig is equipped with double assist hooks. These hooks feature a UV glow skirt and assist, which makes the lure more visible in deep, low-light conditions, enhancing its attractiveness to fish. For added durability and bite resistance, the assists are wired through the body of the lure. This design helps the Crabchiku withstand aggressive strikes from large, toothy fish, ensuring that it remains intact and effective after multiple uses.
The UV belly is another feature aimed at maximising the lure’s visibility in deeper waters. This additional UV detail helps the lure stand out and can trigger more strikes, especially in murky or dark environments.

The lure’s realistic finishes are designed to closely mimic the appearance of natural prey – crabs, increasing its effectiveness in tricking fish into striking. These finishes are crucial for making the lure appear more lifelike underwater.

The Crabchiku is an innovative lure that blends traditional and modern design elements to create a highly effective tool for deep-sea fishing. Its unique features, such as the hybrid design, UV enhancements, and durable construction, make it a standout in the market and a must-try for serious anglers.
