THE NEW KING OF TROUT BAITS – DUO RYUKI SPEARHEAD 50S TAKUMI

Early spring last year I received some of the first pre-production samples of the new upcoming Duo Ryuki Spearhead 50S Takumi’s to photograph for the 25^th Anniversary Duo International Catalogue. Only recently I’ve finally got my hands on a few production samples, the only difference is that these ones have the names printed on them.

The Takumi is a great little trout bait, typical Japanese perfection can only be matched with traditional Japanese tōjiki (pottery)Hashioki (chop stick rest) of a little Yamame (trout) that I bought a set on a trip many years ago to Nikko in Japan.
