DAIWA 20 EMERALDAS X LT

From the release of the very first Daiwa Emeraldas in the early 2000’s I’ve shot every variation and model of Daiwa’s Eging range for catalogues and promotion
Emeraldas reels have always been one of my favourites, not just because I love eging, but because they always feature that beautiful “tiffany” or emeraldas turquoise color. The latest model also features the stunning color like earlier models, a purple harlequin paint.

Product preparation is imperative to the final image. To limit time spent in Creative Suite I always clean and polish every nook and cranny to remove any dirt, dust, oil, fingerprints etc. Then no matter the product every one has a test image with an Xrite Color Checker and Sekonic light meter to get colour and exposure perfect. These seem to be forgotten or underutilized gear with many of todays photographers.
