KanuLock
One thing is I’m pedantic amount is getting every product I photography for catalogues, websites, promotion etc is that they are all at the same angles, display as much of the product as possible and the lighting/color is exactly the same.
These Kanulock’s have a lot going on, from bright colored packaging to metallic parts to jet black plastics. Though it may seem easy to photograph, the combination of all those elements makes it more difficult, you need to light the blacks/shadows yet not blow out the whites/metallics.
Multiple lights and reflectors are the only way. The main light lights up the whole product, while a side and rear strobe illuminates the harsh blacks/shadows. Maybe those could be post in post-production but I like to get it done in one shot, less time on the computer more time to photograph.
