HALCO SLIDOG TROUT ENVY
The new Halco Slidog“Trout Envy” colour is gaining a huge following for topwater addicts.
Just about a year now with the compact Godox Ad300 Pro’s matched with the ADS85W soft boxes and I’m thoroughly impressed especially for small tabletop work. Being so light and compact makes them easy to quickly adjust angles when mounted onto a good C-Stand. Larger lights like my AD600 Pro’s are quite cumbersome, great when I need big light and lots of power but you aren’t using or needing it all the time there’s no need, for small items even with the AD300’s I’m only using ¼ power. After literally 10’000’s of flash pops over the past twelve months and these lights are proving themselves as an incredibly reliable studio light, withno bulbs replaced and no battery issues, what else could I ask for?
Battery power on the Ad300’s is amazing, 10s of thousands of shots over the last year. I switched to fully Lithium rechargeable lights last year, no need for cables or plugs plus with the addition of our solar system at home, I can charge the lights during the day at zero cost. Another is an afterthought, you are able to continue to work in power outages (we live rural, so its common).
