Special Bond- Thredbo Valley Horseriding, Crackenback, NSW, Australia
From the land of The Man From Snowy River, the Snowy Mountains is an iconic region for horse riding and it does get more Aussie than brumbies, Jillaroos and Jackaroos.
The latest Fly Program saw participants challenged with riding trained brumbies at Thredbo Valley Horseriding located at Crackenback, NSW. While some had a small amount of horse experience others it was the first time. After a crash course in riding, they saddled up and headed into the mountains.
Guided through the trails by an incredible team, you can feel that they have a special bond between horse and rider. On return after a few hours riding even the participants made that connection. Montana Skye is one of the guides on the tours, she’s a sensational guide and a mentor for up and coming local kids wanting to learn and refine their equine skills.
