DAIWA TEAM DAIWA BLACK RODS
Fishing rods are one of the hardest items I do to get perfect. The combination of a slim tubular items with multiple colours, metals, cork or eva etc make it challenging. Then to throw the cat amongst the pigeons, totally black rods appear, with black shiny surfaces, black matt surfaces and black metal components, all of which have different black tones. So the blacks have to be over exposed so they aren’t black, more 80 – 90% grey.
In light of the difficulties of rod photos, I still love the challenge and its always satisfying when being able to shoot great looking products.
