DAIWA SALTIST HYPER GUIDE
Fishing rods are one of the hardest items I do to get perfect. The combination of a slim tubular items with multiple colours, metals, cork or eva etc make it challenging. I began shooting them during film days before digital, my setup still remains the same… a fully custom-made Lightbox. The new SALTIST HYPER is a combination of shiny surfaces, bright blues/pearl whites, chromes, EVA and polished silver metal making exposure/lighting a bit more challenging. Black EVA needed to be black and the chrome needed to show its metallic surface and texture without blowing any highlights.
