SEASIDE FOSSICKING – DUO TIDE MINNOW SLIM 140SP
After a few weeks of intense storms, floods, wind etc it has been a great chance to do some seaside fossicking at the local beaches. I love a good storm out at sea and it washes in so many treasures that are great for the studio prop collection.
The local beaches are littered with flotsam and jetsam this week, an evening fossick with the my son Pharrell and Paploo the pug helped fill a bucket of oddities from seashells to sponges and driftwood to dried crustaceans, plenty of goodies for product work.
The new DUO Tide Minnow is a classic shore casting minnow, ideally suited to a beach setup in the studio. This was a simple flatlay setup, shot with two Godox AD300 Pro’s at 1/4 power and my ultimate lens the NIKKOR PC-E Micro Nikkor 85mm f2.8D. No mucking around just a quick metering with the Sekonic L508 and bang one shot.
